As a Therapist positioned within our Trailblazing Behavioral Health Department, your role will be pivotal in sculpting resilient communities through high-quality psychotherapy.

Situated in vibrant Beaumont, TX, you will have the unique opportunity to impact clients across the lifespan, from children to adults, guiding them through biopsychosocial challenges with empathy and expertise. Your role is integral in weaving a fabric of wellness within the community, working alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to making a transformational difference in the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Screen new clients to identify presenting problems and address urgent issues or provide immediate referrals as indicated.
  • Administer comprehensive psychosocial assessments to inform treatment strategies.
  • Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy for clients of all ages experiencing biopsychosocial stressors, with a strong emphasis on effective treatment for childhood disorders.
  • Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to develop and implement client-centered interventions and treatment plans.
  • Conduct regular reassessments of clients, updating treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain a flexible full-time schedule including evenings and weekends to meet client needs.
  • Engage in monthly meetings with a clinical supervisor to review client cases for continuous improvement.
  • Document all client interactions and activities diligently within medical records within three working days.
  • Perform billing activities adhering to agency procedures.
  • Provide health and illness prevention advice, including family planning as required by FQHC and comply with all regulatory standards.
  • Remain informed of developments in therapeutic techniques, theories, and research to continually enhance service delivery.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's degree in social or behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university.
  • Current Texas license (LCSW, LPC, and/or LMFT) in good standing with the credentialing board.
  • First Aid and CPR certifications maintained up-to-date.
  • Active participation in Medicare and Medicaid Programs and other health reimbursement plans per Legacy requirements.
  • Minimum two years of paid work experience in delivering psychotherapy therapy.
